XCOM 2: War of the Chosen is an expansion for XCOM 2 and was released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 28, 2017.
The expansion features the Chosen, alien heroes who each have their own distinct personalities, fighting styles and skills. The Assassin is an honor-bound character who is skilled in stealth and close-quarters combat, while there's also the Hunter and Warlock. The Chosen will grow stronger as players battle against them over the course of the game.
Additionally, three factions are featured, including the Reaper, who are stealth marksman, as well as Skirmishers, who are defectors from the alien army, and Templars, who build up power over multiple attacks. Players will have to win over each faction in War of the Chosen.
